Rachel joined the Whitebark board of directors in spring 2023. Rachel joined the California Bar in 1999 and was an intellectual property attorney in private practice for 19 years. After moving to Bishop, she wound down her law practice and went to work for the Inyo National Forest for a few seasons as a wilderness ranger. She returned to practicing law in 2022, joining California Indian Legal Services in Bishop as a housing attorney. In her free time, Rachel rides, packs, and cares for a herd of horses and mules.
