What We Do
We do interdisciplinary environmental problem-solving that aims to improve human and natural communities in the Eastern Sierra region of California.
Forest and Land Health Program
Works to reduce future impacts of wildfire as we face more frequent fire by proactively managing landscapes with coalitions of agency and community partners. This work will help our landscapes to keep providing all the ecosystem service benefits for future generations.

Builds resilient communities and neighboring ecosystems to help plan and prepare for future wildfires.
Education Program
Increases environmental literacy related to wildfire and local ecology to help visitors, residents, and communities in the Eastern Sierra understand current risks and potential solutions while planning for a more hopeful future.
