Timber Operators Request for Proposals

The Whitebark Institute (WBI) is seeking timber contractors (Contractors) to implement forest health treatments in 2025 for two projects in support Eastern Sierra Climate & Communities Resilience Project (ESCCRP) in Mammoth Lakes, CA on Inyo National Forest (INF) lands.

  1. ESCCRP Priority Acres -2025 Hand Units Project – 779 acres

  2. ESCCRP Priority Acres -2025 Mechanical Units Project – 338 acres

​

These projects are being advertised as two separate Request for Proposals (RFPs), each detailed below. Responses to both these Request for Proposals (RFP) are due no later than 5:00PM (PDT) on January 13, 2025, via email.

ESCCRP Priority Acres -2025 Mechanical Units Project


Seeking Contractors to implement 338 acres of mechanical forest health treatments forest health treatments on Inyo National Forest (INF) lands. There are three project areas: Lakes Basin – Coldwater Campground, Junkyard, and Voorhis. Due to timing limitations, multiple Contractors may be awarded, Contractors will be awarded entire project areas.
