Robin Bolser

Treasurer

Robin started her career as a marine biologist on the East Coast and came to California in 1997.  Robin moved to the Eastern Sierra in 2001 after falling in love with skiing, climbing and hiking and meeting her husband on the slopes of Mammoth Mountain.  She decided to gamble on a career change by opening a small bakery-café in Bishop, and it has grown ever since.  Concerned for the well-being of local communities in the face of a changing climate, she connected with Whitebark Institute in 2022.  She is pleased to be able to offer her business experience, scientific background and vision for the Eastern Sierra as Whitebark Institute grows.
